Giveaway: How do you celebrate Earth Day?

It's been 45 years since Earth Day was established, and, amazingly, we're still having conversations about the need to protect our planet.

Those conversations need to start early. I love that Scholastic has resources and activities for kids that can help explain Earth Day and get them involved in hands-on ways. Here are some great ones:

And of course, books are a great way to get kids involved -- because by reading and immersing ourselves into stories, both fiction and nonfiction, we can better understand our planet. Here are some great books about Earth Day from Scholastic Parents, and check out our Earth Day Top Picks here!

To that end...we're hosting an Earth Day giveaway!

THE GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED AND CONGRATULATIONS TO THE RANDOMLY SELECTED WINNERS: MEGAN M, EMILIA E, AND KEISHAUNA B!

GIVEAWAY: Three (3) winners will receive a copy of Buried Sunlight by Molly Bang and Penny Chisholm and The Magic School Bus and the Climate Challenge by Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen. Read the complete legal rules here. Open to legal U.S. residents, age 18 and up.
