Scholastic Reading Club: Captain Underpants Movie Contest

We cannot wait for the film, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, to arrive in cinemas this year. For nearly 20 years, we have celebrated the wacky and wild adventures of Captain with this laugh-out-loud book series by worldwide, bestselling author Dav Pilkey.

In celebration our favorite skivvies-clad hero coming to life on the big screen, Scholastic Reading Club is calling all students to celebrate the superhero in their lives - their school principal - with the Captain Underpants Movie Contest. 

One (1) Grand-Prize Winner will receive two (2) pairs of tickets to a special premiere screening of the new Captain Underpants movie, based on the epic novels by Dav Pilkey. One (1) pair of tickets is for the winner, and one (1) pair is for the winner’s principal. Travel and accommodations for all four (4) people are included in the prize.

To enter: Educators will ask their students to draw a picture of their principal as a superhero and then write one sentence under the picture that explains what’s so super about their hero principal!

Students can use crayon, pencil, pen, marker, pastels, paint, or collage. Entries must be no larger than 11” x 14” and include: student’s name, age, and grade; teacher’s name; principal’s name; and school’s name, address, and phone number.
