Holiday season is officially upon us! Continuing with our series of celebrating with literary-themed treats, we’re taking a look at Hanukkah this week.
Hanukkah is a Jewish festival of lights, commemorating the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. It runs from December 22nd to 30th this year, when families will gather to light menorahs, offer prayers, and enjoy traditional foods.
Check out the selections below to learn more about the festival and whip up the delicious treats eaten during this celebratory time: potato latkes, gelt (chocolate coins), sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts), and more!
