There's only three days left in the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge!

While some may consider Labor Day weekend the official end of summer, all of us here at Scholastic know that summer isn't over until the Summer Reading Challenge says so!

This year, the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge ends this Friday, September 8 and 3PM ET -- that means there's only three days left for kids to log their reading minutes!

Minute Mania Month is still going strong, which means kids can log their reading minutes from the entire summer; kids can go all the way back to week 1. (As you may recall, the 2017 Summer Reading Challenge started all the way back in the first week of May. That's a lot of reading to log!)

Right now, kids have logged an impressive 126 summer reading minutes -- but there's still time for kids to help make that number even bigger. Plus, by logging more minutes, kids can help their school, library, or community partner organization earn special recognition. Soon after the end of the Challenge, we'll be announcing the "Best in State" Schools, along with the Top 5 Libraries and Top 5 Community Partners.

There's still lots more fun in store - so, make sure your participating kids head on over to scholastic.com/summer this week... because every minute counts!
