You already know global superstar Taylor Swift is joining us on Ocotber 29th to talk to kids about her love of reading and writing (We. Cannot. Wait.). Well today we're annoucing even more exciting news: we've teamed up with Taylor to launch the “This is How I Shake it Off” Writing Contest for kids!
As a part of National Bullying Prevention Month, students (grades 3-8) can enter the contest by submitting a one-page creative essay or poem about how they shake off mean comments and hard times.
And the prizes? They're pretty awesome. Students will have the chance to win tickets and a meet-and-greet for two at an upcoming Taylor Swift concert! Lucky runner-up winners will also receive a signed guitar and copies of Taylor’s new “1989” CD.
