“Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens…” sound fine and all, but is the Scholastic Book Fair one of your “favorite things”?
It was definitely one of mine as a kid during the holiday season.
I still remember my grammar school decorating our fairs with an abundance of garland, wreaths, trees and fake snow. My favorite decoration was a giant sled overflowing with presents and books. It was a dream come true for the little bookworm in me.
