About the panel: PBS is launching The Great American Read, a ground-breaking TV series and nationwide campaign to create a national conversation about reading and to ultimately vote for America’s best-loved book. Airing over the summer, engaging a broad and diverse audience, celebrities and everyday Americans will champion their favorite novels and explain their personal connection to them – and PBS is bringing this debate live to BookCon 2018! Watch best-selling authors and other luminaries as they fill out their own brackets live on stage to pit classic books against each other, to determine which book they think should be deemed America’s best-loved book of all time.  Let the tournament challenge begin!

About the panel: Bravery and fearlessness are not only invaluable in everyday life, but they're imperative in the writing process as well.  This panel boasts accomplished, beloved authors who aren’t afraid to express their true voices.  Come learn how they harness their unique perspectives so you too can learn how to overcome fear and trepidations.

And be sure to come by and help us celebrate the 20th anniversary of the US publication of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone!

All weekend long in our booth (#1538), we'll have a Harry Potter Photo Op: A life-sized 3D replica of the original Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone book cover where you can grab a broom and a camera and become a part of the iconic cover!

We'll also have our Muggle Wall where we invite fans to share what Harry Potter means to them!

Hope to see you there!
