This just in! Kids from around the world between the ages of 10-14 are now eligible to apply to the Scholastic Kids Press program for the 2024-2025 school year.
Scholastic Kid Reporters “report news for kids, by kids,” and learn valuable, life-long skills through the award-winning student journalism program. Each year, these budding journalists cover the topics that matter most to them and their peers with guidance from Scholastic editors.
Scholastic Kid Reporters interview changemakers at both the local and national level and witness major world events firsthand, covering everything from politics and the environment to sports and entertainment. This school year, our young journalists have covered events such as the National League of Cities Summit, the Big Ten Football Championship, and Halloween at the White House. They also have interviewed members of the U.S. House and Senate, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, a NASA scientist, and a Tony Award-winning actress, among others.
