In appreciation of all the hard work teachers do, The Kelly Clarkson Show recently aired a segment that featured an incredible book donation from Scholastic!
This past year, teachers have gone above and beyond to support students and their families through so many challenges and obstacles. In a special episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show dedicated to honoring educators, Clarkson spoke with Former First Lady Laura Bush, as well as California-based teacher Ms. Khit, about the importance and necessity of classroom libraries.
Shortly thereafter, Clarkson surprised her viewers with an incredible giveaway: a donation of nearly 25,000 books from Scholastic to the teachers in the virtual audience! To help teachers transition back to the classroom and build their very own classroom libraries, Scholastic donated 500 books to every teacher who attended the show.
