Last week, Scholastic attended two major events in the world of publishing: BookExpo America and BookCon.
The back-to-back conventions at the Javits Center in New York City brought together publishers, authors, and book lovers alike. BookExpo America (BEA) is the largest publishing event in North America, while BookCon is an annual fan convention, dedicated to celebrating books and storytelling.
Scholastic had its own booth at both events, hosting author signings, panel discussions, photo ops, and more! Authors including Dav Pilkey, Ann M. Martin, Raina Telgemeier, R.L. Stine, Maggie Stiefvater, and Alyssa Milano were in attendance to meet fans and talk about their latest books. There were also countless giveaways, including ARCs of upcoming titles and exclusive posters.
