Say Hello to the 25th Class of Scholastic Kid Reporters!

The award-winning Scholastic Kids Press is excited to welcome 27 student journalists from across the globe to the 2024-2025 program year.

Since 2000, more than 500 Kid Reporters, ages 10-14, have reported “news for kids, by kids.” This special anniversary year, new and returning Scholastic Kid Reporters have been hand selected from around the world to share stories with a focus on the topics that matter most to young people.

Meet the 2024-2025 class of Scholastic Kid Reporters here.

The 25th cohort will gain powerful real-world experience and develop skills related to media literacy including how to vet sources, think and write critically, and understand the robust impact of multimedia storytelling under the guidance of their trusted editor, Suzanne McCabe. This year’s class represents all four regions of the U.S. as well as eight countries, including Australia, Brazil, China, the Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.

When it was time to apply to colleges, I had solid foundation and portfolio of interviews, articles, and clips I could use during the application process. My Scholastic Kids Press experience truly had a significant impact on my life and career.”
