Resources for talking to your children about the Las Vegas shooting

With the Las Vegas tragedy on our minds, we're thinking of the impossible conversations families and educators will be having in the days to come. 

No matter where you reside, it's likely the young people you know will see the news headlines on television and online. For age-appropriate news articles about the event, there's Junior Scholastic (for middle schoolers) and the New York Times Upfront (for high schoolers). 

Of course, children of all ages may have questions and concerns. It's our hope that we can offer some useful information on how to talk with children about tragedies like this:
