Every month, a big truck pulls up to The Scholastic Store with a very heavy skid of all of the new books being released. It's always an exciting and frenetic time at The Scholastic Store. Beyond the workout we get loading in all the new books, we get to completely remerchandise our New Releases section and well, it's kinda like Christmas morning. Who is not excited by hundreds of brand new books?
Here are a few of the books we are excited about in this month's new releases:
- Max and the Won't Go to Bed Show - I read this book at storytime yesterday and fell in love! It is theatrical, fun and rings very true! Max has many magic tricks up his sleeve and puts them all to use avoiding bedtime.
- Thea Stilton Special Edition: The Secret of the Snow- Iceskating mice on the cover, mysterious flowery disappearances and the tremendous wit of the Stilton siblings - what else could you ask for?
- Minecraft: Construction Handbook - Our guests are so excited about the Minecraft books and the newest release is no exception! This official guide lets any Minecraft user be a creative genius!
- The Hunger Games Foil Editions- Just in time for the first installment of the Mockingjay movie comes a new edition of the books! Each has been redesigned with a shining new cover and all three are available in a boxed set as well!
- Giraffe's Can't Dance Anniversary Edition - If you are a regular OOM reader, you know how much I love this book! The new edition celebrates the 15th Anniversary and includes a cool foil cover!
