Big news about the Scholastic Book Fairs app: it just broke 100,000 downloads!
The free app launched in October and since then has changed the way parents and readers participate in their schools' Scholastic Book Fairs! Designed to make it as easy as possible to find the right book at your Fair, the app is available for iPhone®, iPad®, and Android™ devices. With the quick scan of a book cover or a barcode, it lets you immediately access:
- the book's reading level (AR, Lexile, Guided Reading, and DRA)
- its summary and age/grade level
- related videos and podcasts about the book
- the book's price
- information about any awards the book has won
- and more, including additional features coming this spring.
Plus, the Scholastic Book Fairs app lets you search thousands of titles for recommended and related books, create book wishlists, and even purchase books available online.
