Today, we are excited to announce the “Top Teaching” bloggers for 2016-17! Selected by Scholastic editors, this year’s team of exceptional educators consists of 22 new and returning preschool through eighth grade teachers who will be sharing their expertise with readers on Scholastic.com throughout the upcoming year.
From suggestions for improving reading comprehension to tips for family engagement, the Top Teaching blog provides daily, original blog posts featuring essential resources for educators’ day-to-day efforts in the classroom, including lesson ideas, classroom strategies, book lists, videos, giveaways and more.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with this outstanding group of teachers and provide daily ideas inspired by personal experiences in the classroom and tied to school year milestones,” said Maggie McGuire, Vice President of eScholastic. “At Scholastic, we know how important it is for educators to have access to high-quality resources, ideas, and strategies throughout the year and we are confident the Top Teaching blog will continue to serve as an invaluable asset for our online readers.”
