Congratulations summer readers!
Kids participating in the Scholastic Summer Reading program on Scholastic Home Base have charted enough Reading Streaks™ to unlock a donation of 100,000 books to kids with limited or no access. The books provided by Scholastic will be distributed to children across rural America by Save the Children.
Through the fun, free, and safe Scholastic Summer Reading program, kids have not only been motivated to read to help increase book access for their peers, but they have also had access to exciting free resources including free e-books, author read-aloud videos, virtual events, digital rewards and more!
And the reading fun won’t stop now—kids can continue to enjoy Scholastic Home Base Summer Zone through September 3rd and the full Home Base platform all year long! Home Base provide kids with special events and experiences that celebrate stories with beloved authors and connect a community of readers.
