Today on OOM we’re honoring civil rights icon Jackie Robinson. Sharon Robinson, author and daughter of the baseball great, recently sat down to record a Scholastic Reads podcast episode. In the episode, she discusses her newest book, The Hero Two Doors Down: A Story of Friendship Between a Boy and a Baseball Legend, a touching novel based on the true story of a boy in Brooklyn who became neighbors and friends with his hero, Jackie Robinson.
