Have you heard about the Ruperts?
You're going to want to.
Kill the Boy Band is a new YA novel by debut author Goldy Moldavsky, in stores today, which tells the story of four seriously intense fans of the (fictional) British boy band, the Ruperts. Here's the (hilarious, enticing) description:
Just know from the start that it wasn't supposed to go like this. All we wanted was to get near them. That's why we got a room in the hotel where they were staying. We were not planning to kidnap one of them. Especially not the most useless one. But we had him-his room key, his cell phone, and his secrets. We were not planning on what happened next. We swear.
This is a pitch-black, hilarious take on fandom and the badass girls who have the power to make-or break-the people we call "celebrities."
To celebrate its release in stores today, we're giving away two (2!) copies right here on OOM. Bonus: we'll throw in some fun pins and temporary tattoos (like the ones Matt, the book's editor, is wearing here!).
GIVEAWAY: To enter to win, tell us here: If you were to create your own boy band, what would you name it? Contest is open to all legal U.S. residents 18 and over; contest closes at 11:59pm ET on Friday, February 26, 2016. Read the complete legal rules here.
(P.S. We're hosting a similar giveaway on Facebook, too, if you'd like to increase your chances!)
UPDATE: Giveaway now closed. Congratulations to Jaylee and Summer!
