First, we are so very happy that Bugs in My Hair! by David Shannon was selected as Book of the Year for third to fourth grade at the Children's Choice Book Awards!
I am extremely honored that The Scholastic Store will be hosting an official Children's Book Week event for the second year in a row!
One of our goals in the Store is to bring books to life every day. Whether it's storytime, reading crafts or author visits, we try to make books come alive in new ways all the time. On Saturday, though, we take that to a whole new level! We've got characters galore visiting! Kids can get their pictures taken with Slappy from Goosebumps, Captain Underpants and of course, Clifford! There may be a few more surprise visitors too!
