Can you believe that less than 100 years ago, women in the U.S. still couldn't vote?
This week marks the 94th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote. On August 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment legally took effect after Tennessee became the 36th state to ratify it, securing the three–fourths majority of states needed for its adoption.
