Today we hit an epic milestone in the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge: kids have officially surpassed the 2013 World Record for summer reading. This calls for many an exclamation point----> !!!!!!! In only ten weeks, kids have cruised right on through 176,438,473 minutes. Over 200,000 kids in 50,000 classrooms from 12,000 schools around the world are participating. Our team here at Scholastic can't stop talking about how very impressive this is.
