In Our Feeds: Lit quizzes, Harry Potter illustrated and slow reading

Each Friday, we share a handful of links we found interesting, provocative, funny — or just plain cool. We call it In Our Feeds. Have a good weekend!

Are you a true #booknerd? Well, try this quiz (courtesy of Nadia) to see if you can identify these first lines from classic literature. If you are really stuck, there is an answer key at the bottom.

Artist Lucy Knisley created an infographic called “The SummHarry,” which illustrates the entire Harry Potter series through one chart. My personal favorite is the humorous take on the end of each story featuring an illustration of Dumbeldore simply patting Harry’s saying, “Good boy,” downplaying the serious trauma Harry has encountered throughout each story. Good find, Lia!

Speaking of Harry Potter, can I please attend one of the 13 college dining halls that look exactly like Hogwarts? “10 Points to Gryffindor.”

Here’s a tip for today: R-E-A-D  S-L-O-W-L-Y. A recent Wall Street Journal article explores how reading slowly benefits your brain and cuts stress. Sign me up! I will gladly take on more reading time. Shout out to Megan for finding this article!
