BreAnn Fennell, a 2023-2024 Scholastic Teacher Fellow, shares insight from her experience with teachers everywhere: “I learned that there are so many ways to lead from your classroom. Your expertise and excitement in your profession must be heard nationwide. Do not be afraid to take a leap and try something new. When I applied for the Scholastic Teacher Fellowship, I had no idea the friends I would make and skills I would gain within this experience.”
The Scholastic Teacher Fellow program fosters innovation and professional growth for all involved, offering educators and industry professionals the exceptional opportunity to collaborate and develop new educational strategies that can be implemented in classrooms, Fellows will receive a $2,000 stipend and $500 in Scholastic products, and gain access to resources and networks that enhance their teaching practices, ultimately benefiting students through more engaging and effective learning experiences.
Stay tuned for the innovative ideas and resources these Teacher Fellows will bring to classrooms nationwide, and be sure to follow ScholasticEdu on X (FKA Twitter) and Scholastic on LinkedIn!
