The 2019–2020 program year is officially underway for Scholastic Kids Press, and our Kid Reporters have been hard at work across the country and around the world reporting “news for kids, by kids.”
For some of these young journalists, like Bryce Jones from Georgia, and Marigold Grace Mioc from Canada, they had an opportunity to write their first stories as Scholastic Kid Reporters! For others, like Marley Alburez from New York, and Benjamin Woo from Texas, they’ve returned to the program for another year to continue covering issues that matter most to kids.
This past month, Kid Reporters sat down with the Addams Family movie cast, the mayor of Houston, Texas, author Kate DiCamillo, and the head of UNICEF USA; and they also attended events like the most recent Democratic debate in Ohio, and Paris Fashion Week.
