- Books Between: This is a middle grade podcast that helps teachers, parents, and librarians connect kids ages 8–12 to books they’ll love. It's hosted by Corrina Allen, a mother of two girls, and 5th grade teacher based in Syracuse, NY. On this episode, starting at the 15:10 minute mark, Corrina and Deimosa chat about the "summer slide" and findings from the Scholastic Kids & Family Reading Report, how Deimosa found herself working at Scholastic, the benefits of letting kids choose books themselves, and how the Scholastic Read-a-Palooza Summer Reading Challenge is helping to improve book access.
