The Scholastic Online Preview for Spring 2019 debuted this week! It’s a video sneak peek at books hitting shelves in the first half of 2019, all recorded by the authors and editors themselves.

For the next few weeks, we will feature a different category here on OOM. First up are picture books!

Most often aimed at our youngest readers, picture books hold lessons for everyone! From a caterpillar who learns to wait for good things to a perfectionist eraser that needs to let go to a chick that has to find her squad, these books beautifully show that even the biggest problems can be solved!  With new titles from Peter H. Reynolds, Mark Teague and a picture book debut from Avery Corman, the author of Kramer vs. Kramer, this season is not to be missed!
