It's Hispanic Heritage Month!
Hispanic Heritage Month is observed each year on Sept. 15 - Oct. 15 to celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors come from the Caribbean, Spain, Mexico, and Central/South America. Sept. 15th is observed as the start of the celebratory month because it is the anniversary of independence for Latin American countries Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
