Scholastic has launched a new early chapter book series, LEGO® Brick Adventures, aimed to help growing readers build literacy—one brick at a time! Recommended for readers between the ages of 6-8, each LEGO Brick Adventures book features three original, illustrated stories, fast-paced plots and humor, and favorite characters from the worlds of LEGO DC™ Super Heroes, LEGO Star Wars, and LEGO Ninjago. The series has launched with two books (LEGO DC Super Heroes: Bad Guy Blizzard and LEGO Ninjago: Brother/Sister Squad), with more books scheduled to release throughout the year.
To celebrate the series launch, we are sharing a chapter excerpt of LEGO DC Super Heroes: Brick Adventures: Bad Guy Blizzard. In this story, Gotham’s worst super-villains have broken out of Arkham Asylum, and are working together to wreak havoc on the city. To beat these notorious villains, Batman turns to the help of his Justice League friends, to put these bad guys away for good!
