This week, Scholastic was included in the 2018 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index! Scholastic joins the rank of more than 100 companies including L’Oréal, Bank of America, and Gap Inc. to name a few.
Bloomberg’s sector-neutral index measures gender equality across various aspects of the workplace and celebrates companies from more than 20 countries/regions across the world. Inclusion on this list comes after submitting a social survey created by Bloomberg in partnership with third-party experts Catalyst, Women’s World Banking, Working Mother Media, National Women’s Law Center, and National Partnership for Women & Families.
