Search Engine Marketing Manager (SEO and Paid Search Required)
The Search Engine Marketing Manager creates, manages, and optimizes search engine marketing programs for both natural (SEO) and paid search across Scholastic. The Search Engine Marketing Manager will work closely with our agency partners and our in-house team to help our sites maximize rankings, traffic, customer engagement, revenue, and long-term loyalty.
Responsibilities:
The person in this position will be responsible for managing the search engine marketing channels, both paid and organic. He or she will manage the paid search and shopping process end-to-end, from campaign inception, management and optimization, through post-campaign analysis. Within organic search, the Manager will partner with technical and content teams to improve the visibility, rank, and relevance of sites in search engines over time. It is expected that the Manager will be a fast-paced, self-motivated person who is detail-oriented and able to keep multiple initiatives moving at once.

Senior Marketing Analyst
The Senior Marketing Analyst will be responsible for reporting and analyzing multi-channel marketing campaigns to determine opportunities to increase efficiencies and maximize return on marketing investment. The ideal candidate will have the strategic, creative and analytical skills needed to connect quantitative data to insights that will drive and change our marketing activities across all channels.
Responsibilities include:

Analyze relevant media and financial data to generate reports/presentations that provide actionable insights and identify growth opportunities

Maintain and distribute standardize media performance recaps for marketing campaigns and promotional events, using attribution and internal data

Collaborate with internal marketing partners to develop goals and KPIs for media channels, providing recommendations for upcoming events and campaigns

Product Owner, eCommerce
Scholastic is looking for an experienced Product Owner who is passionate about creating and delivering an exceptional direct-to-consumer eCommerce experience targeting Scholastic’s 5 core constituents–Teachers, Administrators, Parents, Partners and Librarians.
Responsibilities:
The Product Owner will strategize the best approach for development and oversee the work to execute and release. In this capacity, this individual will develop user stories and test scripts that drive development and test activities. The role is required to demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills, working with agile development teams to drive planning and scoping of releases. The Product Owner will be hands-on, problem solving to ensure success.

Technical Lead, Integration Services
The Technical Lead will be working in a fast-paced environment with business and technology groups. The role requires a self-starter who is passionate about education and technologies. He or she must be able to task manage and prioritize activities efficiently. The candidate must also be able to effectively communicate expectations and timelines in a timely and clear fashion and have strong written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and have leadership experience. The individual should have experience managing teams, influencing without direct authority, and leading a team of engineers. The role requires design skills, sound judgment, and the ability to establish strong working relationships with business stakeholders and product owners.

Executive Editor, Early Childhood Dual Language Learning and Biliteracy
The Executive Editor of Early Childhood ELL, DLL, and Bilingual Learning will assist in creating innovative, research-based, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. He or she will contribute to product planning and will manage a team of content developers to bring product plans to fruition with the highest commitment to quality and efficacy.
Responsibilities include:

Working with the Senior Director, contribute and adhere to product plans including instructional models and editorial guidelines, working within established development schedules and project budgets.

Work with program authors and consultants as needed, eliciting input, managing expectations, and building rapport and enthusiasm.

Manage 3 editors and external freelancers and vendors as needed.

Write, review, edit, and approve content as needed.
