If you were on Twitter yesterday (let's face it, you were probably on Twitter yesterday), you likely saw that the platform was celebrating its tenth birthday! We sent our first tweet back in 2009, and in the last 7 years have loved talking to you all about book and education news, ideas, stories and inspiration. To celebrate, we decided to share some of our most popular tweets—a trip down memory lane!
Back in the summer of 2014, @MadisonElleBeer shared her favorite books, and Twitter went wild for it.

On the other end of the emotional spectrum, we also mourned the loss of Norman Bridwell, author/illustrator of our beloved Clifford The Big Red Dog series, who passed away on December 12, 2014. Norman Bridwell is so close to our hearts, we grieved with Clifford fans everywhere and shared this sweet drawing of Emily Elizabeth and Clifford. [Ed. note: this image still makes me tear up.]

@this_is_teen is one of our most fun accounts, and this #BookLover (who among us isn't a #BookLover?) tweet of course hit the mark.

Speaking of fun, anything Taylor Swift-related goes instantly viral! When she donated 25,000 books to schools in New York City, we were so excited to share the news, and based on the insane number of retweets, you were, too!

And finally, our #1 tweet. Put simply, there's no news like Harry Potter news. Period.
