Weston Woods & Scholastic Audio take home ALA MidWinter awards

We're excited to announce that our Weston Woods & Scholastic Audio team returned from the American Library Association (ALA) Midwinter Meeting in Chicago with not one, but TWO awards!

The first is The Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Children's Video for the film Me...Jane based on the book by Patrick McDonnell.

Patrick McDonnell's book was a Caldecott Honor Book last year, and is the story of young Jane Goodall. Included is a special bonus conversation with Patrick McDonnell and Jane Goodall.

The second award is an Odyssey Honor for the audio rendition of the book A Snicker of Magic, written by Natalie Lloyd and narrated by Cassandra Morris!his is a back-to-back win for the Weston Woods & Scholastic Audio team: they won the Andrew Carnegie Medal last year for “Bink & Gollie: Two for One."

Congratulations to the team! You can check out the full list of winners and learn more about both awards here.
