"That's a wrap!" on the 2015 Summer Reading Challenge

Cue the confetti, start the music—it's time to celebrate summer reading! As of 3pm ET today, the 2015 Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge has officially ended, and what a fulfilling summer it's been. Over 250,000 kids from more than 6,200 schools in the U.S. and internationally logged a total of 286,611,349 summer reading minutes

Tune in next week for a full list of the top 100 schools, the top school in every state, and the top states in terms of minutes read and school participation. 

A huge congratulations to the top elementary school, Jackson Elementary School in McAllen, TX, and the top middle school, Lake Nona Middle School in Orlando, FL. The top 20 schools are listed below and here.
