We have a special guest post today. In honor of Take Your Dog to Work Day, our favorite Big Red Dog, Clifford, sent us some thoughts. (He may or may not have had a little help from Scholastic Media's Danielle Klimashousky....) Take it away, Clifford!
Today is one of my favorite days of the year: Take Your Dog to Work Day! I love getting to visit Scholastic and seeing all the people who work on my books. They are all very friendly and fun! Some of them even have cookies for me – yum! I also find a lot of games and books that have my name on them.
I get to make new friends with the other dogs that visit! Here’s a picture of me and my friend Coconut, who I met last year. I hope to play with her again this year!
My favorite part of the Scholastic building is the Greenhouse, which is where I can find all the food! I’ll get a bowl of dog food especially for me and sit outside on the deck, looking over all of lower Manhattan. I might even take a nap in the sun, if it’s been a long morning of work. Then, it’s back down to the offices for more playing – er, I mean working.
