#SummerReading: June's top parenting blogger picks

It's shocking to think the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge will hit its halfway point tomorrow. Never fear kids (and parents), summer is far from over!

 

In support of the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge, well-known parenting bloggers* have signed up their kids to take the challenge. They have shared some brilliant ideas and tips this month to get kids reading all summer long.

 

These tips for parents are especially helpful as many kids start to face the effects of the "summer slump" - or the "brain drain" that begins mid-Summer after kids are out of school for a month or two.
