"What are you going to do about it?"That's the question Aija Mayrock's mother asked her one day when she was 16 years old and in tears after learning about a fellow teenager who had committed suicide due to relentless bullying. No stranger to bullying herself, Aija decided she would write a book about it—specifically, a guide to help kids like her who'd been suffering.
The Survival Guide to Bullying is out now and Aija has been sharing her story in places like Seventeen Magazine and Just Jared. Last week, I had the honor of interviewing her at AOL's studios in Manhattan for an AOL Build discussion, which you can watch right here.
