In Our Feeds: Bookstore cats, Harry Potter Oreo art, and books that made us ugly cry

Every Friday, we share a handful of links that we found funny, provocative or just plain cool. We call it In Our Feeds. Have a great weekend!

Flavorwire has a collection of stunning bookshelves (think floor-to-ceiling with the covers facing out) that'll make you want to take all your books off the walls and start from scratch on your own display.

Literary Hub asks: Why do cats love bookstores?

Book Riot has compiled a list of the books that made us ugly-cry, and we spot some familiar Scholastic titles (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Mockingjay), although I'd probably include Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix ... and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ... ugh! Pass the tissues!

Let's circle back on these tasks developed to promote synergy! The Atlantic takes a look at the origins of offce buzzwords.

According to Time Out New York, Stuart Little's New York city home is valued at $35 million. Take a look at the values of the homes of other children's book characters who live in New York City, like Eloise and Harriet the Spy. (Spoiler alert: they ain't cheap!)

Using all caps is the online way of screaming. So take a look at the literary quotations, and let me know if they sound better when you scream them out loud (in your head, of course!).

I love Harry Potter, and I love Oreos, so this article is VERY relevant to my interests: Harry Potter Oreo art. (They're so amazing, but I'd be so tempted to eat them ...)

And finally, let's keep this Friday sugar rush going with these amazing book-inspired cakes!

Have a great weekend!
