In Our Feeds: Beautiful book covers, National Grammar Day, and YA guys

Every Friday, we share a handful of links that we found funny, provocative or just plain cool. We call it In Our Feeds. Have a great weekend!

This was a great week for book lovers and word nerds: Wednesday, March 4th was World Read Aloud Day and National Grammar Day; and Thursday, March 5th was World Book Day. Phew!

Need to catch up on your celebrating? Check out these great kids in costume as their favorite book characters for World Book Day, read the winning haiku (Did you know the word "haiku" is both singular and plural? #TheMoreYouKnow!) from the American Copy Editors Society's contest for National Grammar Day, and Pam Allyn (LitWorld founder and Scholastic ambassador) posted a great op-ed on the Huffington Post for World Read Aloud Day.

Last week, Deimosa found a great Twitter account tweeting "the ultimate dystopian YA novel." This week, we found another Twitter account that's parodying the (at times) overly-dramatic guys of YA fiction; Buzzfeed has a roundup of some of the hilarious tweets posted so far.

They say don't judge a book by its cover - unless it's one of these beauties! At the link, you'll find a collection of 50 stunning book cover designs. And on the topic of book covers, can you spot what's missing from these classics?

Do you ever write out a word, and think to yourself, "that can't be right" ... but it totally is? You're not alone - Lia found this list of 29 words that always look misspelled. (Did I spell that right?)
