Associate Director Content Management

The Associate Director Content Management will manage an enterprise level Digital Asset Management system and oversee the ingestion and integrity of production and ancillary files within the DAM. The AD will drive internal collaboration on digital strategy and manage a team consisting of 1-5 people.

In addition, the AD will create and provide oversight maintenance of file standards documents. He/she will also strategize, plan and own file transfers for all procurement projects.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with our internal and Global Scholastic partners in addition to outside vendors.
  • Ensuring files are provided correctly for archival ingestion to Scholastic’s DAM system.
  • Monitoring weekly vendor status reports for integrity of post-production assets.
  • Providing monthly metrics to Director on key aspects of file ingestion.
  • Weekly meetings with Director, direct reports, and key eCMS team members to discuss ongoing issues and resolutions among Business Units and vendors as it relates to the DAM system.

Quote to Cash (QTC) Project Manager 

The Quote to Cash (QTC) Project Manager is responsible for insuring that a project roadmap is delivered on time, within budget, and with quality meeting expectations of all stakeholders. The project manager is responsible for working across all functional and technical areas to insure a successful project delivery occurs. This position oversees a project team of at least 50 resources and is responsible to drive the coordination across all groups to deliver tasks as outlined in the project plan.

Responsibilities include:  

  • Delivery of the project roadmap 
  • Coordinating input from key stakeholders to influence the roadmap 
  • Owning and enforcing consistency and best practices in management execution across the project 
  • Standardizing processes for managing schedule, scope, risks, and dependencies

Warehouse Management System (WMS) Project Manager  

The Warehouse Management (WMS) Project Manager is responsible for insuring that a project roadmap is delivered on time, within budget, and with quality meeting expectations of all stakeholders. Senior Analyst Digital Operations and Process

Based in New York City and reporting to the Executive Director, Digital Services, the Digital Services Operations Analyst will lead operational processes for the Digital Services teams: product and design, the digital marketing, eCommerce, and the content operations. You will own cross-functional projects from start to finish and will play a critical function within the Digital Services organization as we rapidly scale. The ideal candidate has an incredible work ethic, knows that follow-through is everything, has great attention to detail, and always takes ownership.

This position will provide leadership, ownership, and drive results in the following key areas:

  • Provide logistical and operational support for the following teams: product and design, digital marketing, eCommerce, and content operations 
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop systems, tools, dashboards, and processes to improve performance, quality, communication, and visibility between the Digital Services team, the rest of Scholastic Technology Services, and Scholastic at large
  • Define, develop, and own initiatives that remove blockers and improve the overall performance of the Digital Services team.

Brand Publicity Specialist

The Brand Publicity Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative publicity campaigns for high-profile author/brands, licenses, and franchises as assigned. 

Working closely with the brand publicity and marketing teams and reporting to the Vice President, Brand Publicity and Franchise Strategy, the specialist will create press materials and secure media interviews, develop and execute buzz-worthy author events and tours and collaborate with key brand partners and licensors. He/she must be skilled in pitching and securing national media, executing author events and booking tours.

  • The specialist must be a team player and have excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills. 
  • This fast-paced position requires the ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and multi-task.
