Manager, Workforce Management

Kronos experience required

The Manager of Workforce Management will have responsibility for the configuration and testing of the Kronos Workforce Central Enterprise solution to include working across all functions and divisions in Scholastic and ensure that all businesses can be supported by the platform. This role will support the implementation for the first division to go live on the platform as well as all subsequent division implementations and upgrades.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing, monitoring, and controlling the data interfaces interacting to and from Kronos from other data sources/systems
  • Configuring security changes in the environments
  • Auditing new workforce policies and procedures
  • Leading the Kronos Workforce Central Enterprise team through system upgrades and the entire UAT process

Analyst, Workforce Management 

Kronos experience required

The Workforce Management Analyst will be a Kronos functional resource responsible for the configuration and business process enhancements within the specific enterprise Kronos functional area. This role will support a team member and be responsible for monitoring and reviewing security request changes for approvals or denials within the environments. In addition, the analyst will provide assistance in creating new workforce policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining master data configuration and ensuring master data sync between other systems
  • Maintaining Business Processes (break/fix and enhancements)
  • Providing subject matter expertise to the BPO’s and keeping up to date on functionality and training
  • Working with BPO’s to develop requirements for changes and with relevant resources to implement change and prioritize workload
  • Assisting with testing of integration/security cases

Principal Data Engineer

The Principal Data Engineer will be responsible for leading the ongoing development of the Scholastic Data Cloud (SDC). The candidate will demonstrate a successful track record of thought leadership and management skills, coupled with deep experience with engineering and managing cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will be distinguished not only by their experience working in a cloud-based, multi-tenant environment, but also by high levels of creativity, passion, and thought leadership.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Scholastic Data Cloud (SDC) development effort focusing on scalability, quality, and performance
  • Managing a team of data engineers located both on and off shore
  • Serving as the organization’s expert on SDC platform technologies and architecture
  • Performing employee performance reviews and regular one-on-one sessions
  • Performing code reviews
  • Ensuring adherence to Scholastic’s enterprise best practices

Technology Project Manager, Warehouse Management 

The Warehouse Management (WMS) Technology Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that a technology project roadmap is delivered on time, within budget, and with quality meeting expectations of all stakeholders. The WMS Technology Project Manager will be respobsible for working closely with the ERP Cloud domain Technology COE Leader and helping manage the delivery of technology project tasks across all technical areas to ensure a successful project from inception to delivery. This position works closely with a project team and is responsible for driving the coordination with stakeholders across the engineering, data center, business operations, and product management teams to deliver tasks as outlined in the project plan.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing project planning and resource allocation of the Warehouse Management Project
  • Coordinating across technology teams, unified reporting, project communications, project scope, risk and issue resolution metrics.
  • Working closely with the technology organization and managing technical project tasks related to Integrations/Conversions/Severity SR’s, cross domain operational readiness, knowledge transfer from Implementation team to support organization.
  • Ensuring all projects and programs track financials, comply with project methodologies, providing accurate/timely reporting, and issuing escalation.
