Director, Digital Analytics and Insights, eScholastic

The eScholastic team is looking for a lead to develop and manage a team of marketing data analysts in supporting the organization’s understanding of digital and social marketing, ecommerce and content performance effectiveness. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Create and manage the roadmap/skills required for the digital analytics capability at Scholastic

  • Oversee the analytics team and pnl

  • Build and develop expertise in the leveraging of advanced statistical methodologies, software packages (e.g. SAS, R) and cross-industry databases to build customer management scorecards and models for Scholastic clients.

  • Lead and develop a team of marketing data analysts in supporting the organization’s understanding of digital and social marketing

Director of User Experience, Digital Classroom Magazines

We are looking for a Director who will play a leadership role as the UX/UI expert within the Classroom Magazine division. The person in this role will be responsible for defining and delivering teacher-facing digital products that reflect the needs and goals of key stakeholders including editorial and marketing. The UX/UI director will provide day-to-day management and mentoring of UX and visual designers, advocate and serve as experience lead for all user research testing efforts and evangelize best UX practices.

This position requires extensive information architecture and interaction design experience for large-scale responsive content websites, complex workflows, and framework-level interactions.  This is a senior-level role with significant responsibility, requiring leadership skills, creativity, and UX/UI expertise.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Work collaboratively with editors, marketing, research, and technology teams to define requirements that shape product strategies and design decisions.

  • Create user experience goals and conceptual frameworks; user personas, related key user journeys and relevant flowcharts; information architecture and, as necessary, content strategies. 

  • Lead and facilitate the execution of internal and external user testing efforts, and communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders. 

  • Scope and manage projects through all phases, from kick-off through to delivery in a timely fashion.

Warehouse/Distribution Center Manager, Scholastic Book Fairs (Orlando, FL)

The person in this role will have direct responsibility for planning, scheduling, and directing the day-to-day operational activities of one of the largest distribution centers in the Book Fairs Organization. The manager will evaluate and assess operations of the Lake Mary, FL Branch to ensure adherence to company standards and policies, and optimal performance, by performing the following duties:

Financial Management

  • In conjunction with Field Director of Operations, plan and prepare annual budget for Branch unit.

  • Achieve financial results and manage business-operating costs effectively.

  • Achieve Branch budgeted goals, including direct operating costs, revenue per fair through quality production and timely service to customers, and overall branch profitability.

Operations Management

  • Implement operational efficiency improvements and utilize capacity planning and operational metrics to achieve branch’s financial results.

  • Ensure the branch operates in an efficient manner by utilizing effective methods of packing, set-up, delivery, pick-up of book fairs; utilize capacity planning and staffing methods to assure optimum productivity.

  • Conduct annual and semi-annual warehouse sales to reduce inventory levels and maximize revenue stream.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and manage inventory utilization and inventory control procedures/processes to achieve company objectives.
