Books to celebrate dads

Father's Day is this Sunday - the perfect excuse for dads to chill out in a hammock with a good book!

We've got a selection of titles to help you and your family celebrate Father's Day:

Are You My Daddy? by Ilanit Oliver, Illustrated by Guy Parker-Rees: This sweet, simple story with touch-and-feels, pull-tabs and flaps is all about little Walt the Walrus's search for his mustachioed father in the zoo. As Walt searches, he comes across a hilarious array of bearded, bushy-eyebrowed, silly-haired, and yes—even bald!—dads. When he finally finds Daddy Walrus, he only has one question left to ask: "Can we play again?"

Mighty Dads by Joan Holub, Illustrated by James Dean: A new constructacular picture book from the New York Times-bestselling creator of Pete the Cat, James Dean, and bestselling author Joan Holub. Inventively told through James Dean’s colorful construction vehicle characters, Mighty Dads is an adoring dedication to hardworking fathers and the subtle ways they teach their boys and girls to follow in their tracks. The Dump Trucks learn to get dirty. Crane keeps his little one safe from harm. The busy Cement Mixer gives his daughter a hug. The Forklift cheers his son on. A surprising and touching view of a father’s love for his children, Mighty Dads is the perfect way to say: I’m proud of you!

Good Night I Love You by Caroline Jayne Church: Caroline Jayne Church and her loveable, huggable toddlers are back! A bestselling author and illustrator, Church's books have been enormously successful across all channels, but none of them have done better than her padded board books: I Love You Through and Through and How Do I Love You? Now Church brings us Goodnight, I Love You-the quintessential get your children ready for bedtime book. With the charming illustrations that we have come to know and love and wonderful rhyming text, this book will no doubt be a success through and through.
