Pam Allyn on stretching kids’ ‘reading muscles’ in the Common Core era

Pam emphasizes reading volume and how we can challenge children to stretch their “reading muscles” every day.
Pam stresses the importance of exposing children to a wide range of genres, from nonficiton to literary texts, and helping them to build links between the two.
