Sheila Marie Everett from our Trade Publicity group is here with exciting news!
We are thrilled to let you know that Suzanne Collins’s New York Times bestselling middle-grade fantasy series the Underland Chronicles is getting a new look in July 2013! Today OOM is giving you a preview of the cover of the first book, Gregor the Overlander.
Originally published in 2003, the story follows 11-year-old Gregor as he goes through a grate in the laundry room of his New York City apartment building and hurtles into the Underland, an underground city where humans live beside giant spiders, bats, cockroaches and rats in a fragile peace. With the Underland on the brink of war, Gregor finds himself on a quest for his missing father.
The series continues with Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane (2004), Gregor and the Curse of the Warmbloods (2005), Gregor and the Marks of Secret (2006), and Gregor and the Code of Claw (2007)—and starting July 1, 2013, they will all feature new covers, along with a newly designed box set! EW.com revealed all of the covers this morning over at their Shelf Life blog. Click here to see them all!
