In-Our-FeedsEvery Friday, we share a handful of links that we found funny, provocative or just plain cool.  We call it In Our Feeds.  Have a good weekend!

Sometimes people need a pep talk.  Alex brings us a motivating, and adorable pep talk from the “Kid President”.  Maybe this will come in handy on Monday morning!

Flavorpill has a list of 10 cool cover redesigns of classic books. Dante’s hands-down favorite is the redacted one for 1984.  He’s right.  It is pretty great.

Megan was our over achiever this week and brought us two links.  First, did you know the library at the Vatican is going digital?  It is!

Second, when most people think of illuminated texts, they don’t think of using actual lights.  Check out the The Lighted Books of Airan Kang.

Food art?  Nadia sent a link of an artist who photographs food made to look like well-known paintings.  Is it just me or does this make anyone else think of charving??  Maybe it is just me.

And lastly, I asked my fellow librarian Karen for the most useful link she found on the web this week.   As always, she didn’t disappoint.   Looking for an expert?  Here is a collection of the world’s think tanks.
