Happy Valentine’s Day!

VDay is always special at Scholastic, because it’s the day we celebrate Clifford the Big Red Dog’s birthday! And today was extra special, because it’s his 50th — a pretty BIG deal! He opened NASDAQ this morning, and we’ll have a roundup of all the other ways we celebrate the pup tomorrow.

Meanwhile, we thought about writing a post about our favorite literary couples…or our favorite literary weddings…our even the literary characters who come from totally different worlds (er, books) but whom we’d like to set up, matchmaker-style. But all of those have been done before. (Like here. And here. And here.) So today, we just wanted to say thank you to all of you for being readers of this blog. We’re about to celebrate our fifth anniversary, and we couldn’t have reached this goal if not for the people who come by every day to see what we have to say.

We even made a little Vine video to show our appreciation. Check it out!
