Our makeshift offices during hurricane Sandy
By Megan on November 6th, 2012
Last week during hurricane Sandy, Scholastic’s headquarters in New York’s SoHo neighborhood lost power. Despite the office being closed, our Corporate Communications team continued to work remotely to keep employees, customers, and fans informed and updated. We connected from our homes, friend’s homes, friends of friend’s homes, coffee shops…some of us even braved it into a pitch-black office! Then we came across Buzzfeed’s round-up of makeshift work spaces and thought we’d share our pictures from the week. Here are our makeshift office set-ups —enjoy! Did you work from an odd location? Share it here.
