Brian Williams announces the 2012 Education Nation ‘Teacher Town Hall’
By Tyler on September 12th, 2012
For the third year in a row, NBC News is hosting a hugely important “Teacher Town Hall” on the first day of its annual Education Nation Summit here in NYC. With the Presidential election in full swing, a new school year underway and big changes happening in schools all across the country, it’s an important time for teachers to have their voices heard about what works in schools and what our education priorities should be as a nation. That’s why Scholastic is supporting this again for the third time.
Airing at Noon (ET) on Sunday, September 23rd on MSNBC, the conversation will again be hosted by NBC Nightly News Anchor Brian Williams.
NBC has already started the conversation on its Education Nation Facebook page, and we’re doing the same on ours. We hope you’ll tune in and participate online.
Here is video from Brian Williams inviting educators everywhere to join the conversation.
