Happy birthday, Kristy Thomas!

Today marks the birthday of Kristy Thomas, president and founder of The Baby-sitters Club!

It includes a look at the history of the series and interviews with our own David Levithan, Aimee Friedman, and Mallory Kass, each of whom worked on the series — and felt its lasting impact as readers and writers.

The BSC influenced so many of us at OOM, too, of course. Nadia and Lauren and I talk about the BSC all the time…and it’s not unusual to see copies of our favorite books around our desks and apartments!
