The July/August 2012 issue of the Columbia Journalism Review is on the newsstands now (or should be soon), and the editors of the magazine highlight the Scholastic News Kids Press Corps and its coverage of the 2012 election. The spread features a photo of Kid Reporter Zach Dalzell interviewing Texas Governor and former Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry before the South Carolina primary in January. CJR is all about the currents and issues in journalism and highlighting where the profession is and where it’s headed, and t’s great that the Kids Press Corps had the opportunity to be highlighted in its pages. You can check out the story online, but it looks a lot better in print. So be sure to look for CJR on your local newsstand!
